Bio
Mario Spinetti was born into music. His Mom and Dad are Opera singers who have performed around the world from venues like Teatro Carlo Felice in Italy to The Staatsoper in Vienna. His Uncle Aaron played clarinet with Billie Holiday, Chet Baker, Tito Puente, and Frank Sinatra, while his Cousin Alan penned the pop standard, "I Love Rock 'n' Roll," recorded by Joan Jett, Britney Spears, and many more. At an early age, Mario showed promise in the family craft. As an underclassman at the "Famed" LaGuardia High School of Performing Arts he shared the main stage at Carnegie Hall with Judy Collins and returned in his senior year to back up Paul Simon and Hugh Masakella. He won a John Lennon songwriting award while attending the Clive Davis Institute at NYU, and after college he performed a solo piano/vocal circuit along the North-East of the United States that culminated in a set at The Kennedy Center. Those who know Mario today may not even know he performs: many know him as their voice teacher, producer, or mentor. "My passion is to realize the artist: to make their intentions known, and to help them experience Love" *you as you, me as me: never compromising who we areA consort at heart, Mario's debut LP realizes the optimistic and enamored lens through which he sees the world... And, albeit with a twist of arm, finds his spotlight too.

My passion is to enable self-expression. In keeping with that, any song of mine that you've downloaded, any concert you've attended, any purchase you've made associated with my name has gone towards realizing the story of a fellow artist.Currently, I am at work with my alma mater, LaGuardia Arts, to enable young, aspiring recording artists to be heard.The project involves a lot of one-on-one development time with students to discover what's at stake with their work, production hours to realize those stakes, and inevitably, live performance and distribution opportunities to make those stakes known. At each of the above stages there are numerous opportunities including studio sessions, mixing, mastering, distribution, photography, and styling fees. With your support, the very same opportunities become infinitely enriched ... We've set it up such that the difference of a few hundred dollars, can enable a student to work with a platinum mixing engineer, or a major label art director. In short, thank you, from my heart, for contibuting not only to my Love, but also to the self-expression of others.
